Abbotwsay Cottage, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland

A traditional stone built cottage situated at the head of a wooded valley leading down to the sea shore. Abbotsway Cottage is especially private with its own secluded courtyard (fully enclosed), and an attractive garden with garden furniture and a BBQ. The cottage is a lovely walk (or drive) away from the private loch and pavilion. Fly fishing for stocked rainbow trout is available in the loch (£20.00 per rod including 3 fish) with use of the rowing boat. The mown grounds around the loch and pavilion are available for all our guests. There is a large gas barbecue in the pavilion. The cottage has oil-fired central heating throughout, and a log fire in the sitting room. Logs are supplied.

Cutlar's Lodge, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland

Detached stone built cottage located in wooded farmland with beautiful views across grass fields to the sea. Cutlar's Lodge has its own attractive garden, which is fully enclosed for children and dogs. Garden furniture and a BBQ ensure you can make best use of the garden and sea views. Cutlar's Lodge is only about a 15-minute walk from the rocky sea shore. The walk winds down a steep slope through ancient woodland. There are lots of rock pools to explore. There are several sandy beaches within a 30 minute drive of Orroland. The cottage is just a few minutes' walk from the private loch and pavilion. Fly fishing for stocked Rainbow trout is available in the loch (£20.00 per rod per 3 fish) with use of the rowing boat. The mown grounds around the loch and pavilion are available for all our guests. Cutlar's Lodge has ample off-road parking and a garage suitable for one car. The holiday cottage has oil-fired central heating with a log fire in the sitting room. Logs are supplied free of charge. There are modern well-fitted windows throughout.
