About Orroland, Dumfries and Galloway
Orroland is a traditional Scottish lowland farm overlooking the Solway Firth in the heart of rural Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland.
The farm is on a hillside that leads down to the sea, and the resulting panoramic sea views are nothing short of breathtaking. The unspoilt land at Orroland is dedicated to the rearing of quality grass-fed cattle and sheep and the land is dotted with attractive coppices and woods.
Orroland is set apart from the hustle and bustle of busy roads and street lights, however the nearby towns of Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie are just 15 to 20 minutes away by car.
